Looking for a light, affordable, compact, digital piano? Look no further. The Casio digital piano range will be just what you are seeking. Introduced in 1980, originally as a Casiotone keyboard, the company has since manufactured many Casio keyboards and Casio digital pianos. This keyboard was designed to allow anyone to have some fun on a keyboard, irrespective of whether they could play a piano or not. The original sounds of the first casio keyboard were those of the piano, organ and guitar. Since then, Casio has become a major force in the modern industry of musical instruments.

Read on and see which of these impressive keyboards and digital pianos will suit your musical requirements.

The Casio Keyboards come in 3 ranges. The Keylighting series is suitable for the totally inexperienced pianist. This keyboard comes with built in tunes and has keys that light up, teaching the pianist which notes to play. The Standard series is aimed for the beginner and has keyboards with learning programs along with other keyboards designed for basic piano playing. The High Grade series is designed for the accomplished piano player and has many features including synthesizer mode, a large display and professional level qualities in performance and sound.

The Privia Digital Piano range has something for everyone. Whether you are a beginner or a professional there is a piano in this range for you. These digital pianos all provide the feel and sound of a concert grand, but will fit into any tiny space.

Casio px 100 is the basic model. This keyboard still has a scaled action hammer keyboard, and also has built in speakers, a music library and lesson program.

Casio px 110 is the basic model but with a higher quality piano sound. This keyboard has 88 keys, a metronome, touch response, and a built in memory with 60 tunes.

Casio px 310 is suitable for the studio, stage and home. Better still, you can pack it up and carry it between all three. With 120 rhythms, 202 tones, 88 keys, hammer action, auto accompaniment, and touch response. You can store up to 32 set ups and 10 tunes imported from a computer. This digital piano comes with a CD ROM with SMF convertor. This little gem, allegedly the smallest piano available, has everything for the traveling musician.

Casio px 700 offers an elegant design with a more authentic grand piano sound and feel.
